Twice a week, when the afternoon light softens over Carpenter Street, we open the cellar. Cabernet, a chilled white, a board of cheese and salami, grapes still on the vine, walnuts, warm bread. Guests linger by the garden. Conversations start between neighbors who met an hour ago.

Carmel is one of the most dog-loving towns on the California coast — and so are we. Up to two dogs, $25 per night each. A bowl, a towel, and a treat waiting at the front desk.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. The front desk is staffed twenty-four hours, so a late arrival is no problem — just let us know.
Yes, free self-parking on the property. The lot is compact but reliable — and rare in Carmel village.
We offer complimentary morning coffee, tea, and continental offerings for guests.
Yes — up to two dogs, $25 per night per dog. Any size welcome. Pets cannot be left unattended in the room. Cats are not permitted at this time.
Every Friday and Saturday, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, in the garden. Complimentary for all guests staying that night. Book direct and we reserve your seat.
